BAD BOYS//

Another reason why I think clothes are fking dope.

Take it away, Proenza Schouler.

Delving into the dark depths of fabric to release the utmost designs that no designer can compete with.

(But can certainly copy.)

The boys are living up to the proclaimed title of the "fashion world's darlings."
Check the rest of the collection here.

EIGHTIES BABIES//

Galileo, Galileo
Galileo, Figaro, MAGNIFICO!

If I had been a female living in the 80's, one of these selections would be my prom dress.

If I had been living in the 80's as a male, I'd hope to have one of these broads on my arm!

(& since it was the 80's, you know you'd actually be able to afford it)

Valley Girl meets David Bowie meets Debbie Harry, and they all look TOTALLY fantastic.
Here are a few pictures from Markie Marc's show during Fashion Week.

(I'm sorry, I do not have the energy to post ALL 61 IMAGES, even if it is beyond fantastic. Just click on the link below to climax.)

CALL [THE] GIRL TO RUIN IT ALL//

So you've heard!
Eliot Spitzer's (the nerve of that SOB) call girl, Ashley Dupré, was FRONT ROW at (my now favorite designer) Yigal Azrouël's friday show.

And how amusing it is that the bitch of all bitches, Kelly Cutrone (from People's Revolution & TV show "The Hills), was the one put in charge for seating arrangements.

Kelly (trying to save her ass) clearly stated that Ashley "snuck in the show," - however, that was literally, a dog faced lie (have you seen homegirl's face?!). Ashley said Kelly invited her to the show, and BAM, what do you know, later in the day, Kelly admitted that her firm did not invite Ashley, but DID NOT deny her access.

And what did Yigal have to say?

"I'm not going to work with [Cutrone] anymore."
"I'm trying to be calm about the situation, but I'm really not happy about it."

Looks as if Karma came back to bite you in the ass after the countless rude remarks and sleepless nights you've given to the people under you, old girl!

[BTW, throughout this whole ordeal, did anyone take notice in how good Ashley looked? Eliot's dough sure paid off!]

P.S. After posting this, I read an update that "People's Revolution," was in fact, fired by Yigal.

Sucks for you Kelly!

OUT WITH THE OLD//

Breaking news for the fashion crowd.
Bryant Park is no more...

Instead NY Fashion Week will move to the Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park.

Many designers furious, others accept the new location with open arms.

Due to the Lincoln Center being a venue, will Fashion Week go more smoothly there?

Not according to Anna Sui, who claims that Bryant Park is more efficient when it comes to last minute changes and the transportation of clothing.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg made the official announcement Tuesday.
Hell, if Diane approves, I approve.
